TOKENS
Fare tokens are available for purchase at the LPTA dispatch office or directly from a driver. Tokens are sold in sets of 20 for $30 and may be used in place of cash when paying for a ride.
Please note that drivers do not carry cash and are unable to make change. Riders are encouraged to have exact payment or purchase tokens in advance for convenience.
SCHEDULING YOUR RIDE
We offer comfortable seating, and all vehicles are wheelchair accessible. To schedule your ride, please call 517-265-4444 and provide your pickup and drop-off locations. Our dispatch team will coordinate transportation to meet your needs.
A “standing order” for recurring rides may be scheduled with a single call to the LPTA office.
Allow up to 1 hour for the bus to arrive
Plan for additional travel time due to multiple stop
MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS
Please notify the dispatcher when scheduling medical transportation
We request 3 days’ notice for all medical appointments
RIDE REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Riders must wear seat belts at all times
Passengers are responsible for carrying their own items
Please cancel your ride if you no longer need service
BAG POLICY
Riders are limited to 3 bags per trip
Passengers with more than 3 bags may be denied transportation
ACCESSIBLITY AND SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS
Please inform the dispatcher if you require a wheelchair lift-equipped vehicle
Service animals are permitted; please notify dispatch when scheduling
If additional assistance is needed, consider traveling with a personal aide
PASSENGER CONDUCT
Smoking is not permitted on LPTA vehicles
All riders are expected to follow LPTA policies for a safe and comfortable ride
NO-SHOW POLICY
If LPTA arrives for a scheduled pickup and a rider is a no-show twice in the same day, additional rides will not be scheduled until the following day.
SERVICE POLICY
LPTA reserves the right to deny service to any passenger who does not comply with these rules and regulations.
